i have a fun manifest deck in Sultai that, once it gets going, is very hard to answer. But it's those pesky first, I'll say, 4 turns that tend to leave me quite vulnerable if I don't get a great draw. Any ideas on some 1-2 drop control that can help neutralize the board state so I can tap out for the next two turns and begin the flood?

Use the one or two drop {B} guy that when he dies you manifest
{sultai emissary}
I like it. That would be a great turn 2 4/4 with {ghostfire blade} if my oppenent really wanted him dead
{Sylvan Caryatid}?

You should post your deck. I'd be interested in checking it out. Maybe in casual.

originally thought same thing
Morphs/manifests have no name. Just like most tokens have no casting cost. They just lack that attribute. They do not share that attribute though. So BB is safe for your morphies.

It's probably pretty sorry right now...really it's just so a lot of deck setting with {Sultai ascendancy} or {taigams scheming} type cards to get the most out of manifesting {hooded hydras} and cool stuff like that with {whisperwood elemental} and others. Clear your lands out with {trail of mysteries} and drop {Ugin, Spirit dragon} for the incipient win. Really it's a Ugin and Uwin deck.
Great advice though guys. Thank you
