Converge - Radiant Flames deals X damage to each creature, where X is the number of colors of mana spent to cast Raidiant Flames.
Let's say I paid {R}{U}{B} so that X= 3. What happens if I were to copy it? Let's say I copy it with {pyromancer's goggles}. Would the copied spell's X still equal 3? If not, what would it be then?

(http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=706.2.): When copying an object, the copy acquires the copiable values of the original object's characteristics and, for an object on the stack, choices made when casting or activating it (mode, targets, the value of X, whether it was kicked, how it will affect multiple targets, and so on). The "copiable values" are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, color indicator, card type, subtype, supertype, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty), as modified by other copy effects, by its face-down status, and by "as . . . enters the battlefield" and "as . . . is turned face up" abilities that set power and toughness (and may also set additional characteristics). Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied.
What does this mean for our flames?
If a copy is made by {pyromancers goggles}, the spell as it hits the stack is copied. You paid 3 colors for the original, X has been dialed in at 3, so the copy does 3.
If you were to cast a copy of the card without paying its mana cost, due to {Panoptic Mirror} for instance, x would be determined as you cast it, and be 0.
Thank you. I honesty thought that the X for the converge wasn't going to be a copiable value since I hadn't cast the copy by paying mana.

If you "cast a copy", the spell will look what you paid, same as if you'd pay an alternative casting cost for the spell. (Hi {fist of Suns}).
If you copy a spell on the stack, the X will be determined by the casting of the original.
Pretty much as {fork} on a {disintegrate}, the X is not influenced by fork.

Coming back on this one, because it turns out the ruling on this is different.
As per the release notes, if a spell with converge is copied, no mana was spent to cast the copy. The number of colors will be zero.
The number of colors spent to cast the original spell is NOT copied.
