Title: Proliferate
Post by: Oldschoolmtgnoob on August 06, 2015, 10:09:06 PM
Does anyone have a good use for cards with proliferate? Is it possible to build a stable deck around this mechanic? I know with PWs, it could be fun, but it seems like it mainly hangs out in {U}{B} which doesn't yield many +1/+1 counters or something normal like that. Anyone found better synergies?

I have Esper Superfriends with {Contagion Engine}, {Contagion Clasp} and {The Chain Veil} as one ofs. Currently is hard to pick one, but you can't underestimate the raw power of building PWs by 2+ a turn. It's nuts.

{Gilder Bairn} + {doubling season}?

{Gilder Bairn} + {doubling season}?

Why would I play a creature that requires me to attack/play cards to tap it when I can play removal that works by itself?

{Gilder Bairn} + {Training Ground} + {Paradise Mantle}/{Karametra's Favor} is the real combo wombo. But I'd rather just play {Doubling Season}. The only reason I'm playing Esper is that I don't have enough green support IRL yet.
