Completely missed that. I'm not sure I want white then. I think I'd rather just cast it with omni
Exactly. You're never casting that card without omni in play.

What goes in to replace dtt?
{Lim-Dรปl's Vault}. Another {Cunning Wish}... {Merchant Scroll}.
There is the faery thing. {Advice from the Fae}.
Or what about the classic that inspired DTT:
{Ancestral Memories}. (Yeah I know, mana)..
But seriously: {Flash of Insight} flashed from g/y. Exile X blue + {1}{U}. Except for color restriction it's pretty much a DTT, right?
EDIT: o, wait. Only gets one..

This is the list i'm taking to vegas tommorow.
I think 2 boseiju may be a bit slow since they Come in tapped. Also, city of traitors as 1 or 2... Let me know how ancestral memories works for you. Seems like it'll be really bad if you can't get an omniscience to stick.
Quote from: Taysby on December 12, 2015, 12:09:57 AM
3-1 in a side with this. Lost against sneak and show because I couldn't find a boseiju or any counter spells despite having like 4 can trips. Won about $50.
Nice! Are you playing more events with this?
Sweet, good luck!

Lost to a guy I lost to on Friday. Still a top 8 though. $800 in prizes.
That's pretty sweet. Congrats! Did you lose in round one of top 8, so 5-8?
Quote from: Taysby on December 14, 2015, 12:14:38 AM
Yeah. Tiebreakers put me at 5th.

That's awesome. What was good/bad in the main and board for you?
Notable misplays? Usually after big tournaments I learn a good lesson or two

Gp in Vegas? Count me in!
I need to beef up my match against sneak and show. How do I do that?
I recon the most common issue is them {show and tell}-ing into their own Emmy?
Would {Vapor Snag} or similar help?

Lol oh well.
{Thoughtsieze}, {Gitaxian Probe} make sure it's safe to go off.

What's the card that says counter an activated ability and they can't use it again this turn?
That still doesn't work because they just activate it again in response. :/
{trickbind} actually has split second, so they can't. It's an option.

And it's an instant. Hm....
I'd probs have to run like 3 because wishing for it wouldn't work so what would you say are my weakest sideboard cards in a gp meta?
{Interdict}
Quote from: Taysby on August 04, 2016, 01:54:00 AM
Then they draw 7 in response
I was just saying what the card was... Not sure it's very good. Great for tap abilities, not so good for others.

Alas, not a clue what to expect in a legacy GP meta. Due to the "legacy weapon" podcast and mastering of the search function I've gotten better at somewhat understanding the basics of legacy (and finding cards that do certain things), but that one is a bridge too far for me.
@Falcon: {trickbind} is an {interdict} with split second, so they can't respond to you casting it.

Yeah trickbind is much better.

Or would {take possession} be better? Xantid swarm is useful against more decks, but can just eat a counterspell/bolt/swords
There's no way you're casting that without {Omniscience}... But it seems good.

It's Show and Tell. Who cares about mana costs?

I don't think show and tell works with split second right. It "skips" the stack

Split second only matters if it's cast.

I show omniscience, retain priority, then cast it
Ah ok
Burning wish reprint making that 4 of possible?
Quote from: Taysby on August 18, 2016, 08:52:16 PM
Nah, just B storming ways to make it better. Even if they were $100 a pop, I'd still consider it. Not sold though, gonna try it out on modo a bunch before the main event.
It seems good. Pretty much 4 extra show and tells.

up to 11 games in a row that i've lost.
when i have 2 fow with blue cards, they do also with a daze
when i'm getting ready to combo, they therapy my hand
when they don't have counter magic i just don't have mana
When i have more counter magic, i can't cantrip into my combo
Im getting salty af.
Sounds like bad luck streak? Don't get salty with that.
Damn that sucks Taysby.
I played an Esper list and faced OmniShow a few days ago and I went T2 Thoughtseize with FoW back up for his show and then surgical extracted it lol twas a fun game :)

Try the Omni-Sneak variant. Seems really powerful.
