Apparently this deck is considered competitive. This is awesome, a competitive deck that cost me 20ish bucks.
I feel like {ArtificerMa Epipjany} is better than {Perilous Research}.

Legality aside, {artificer's epiphany} is just better, with no permanents that want to be sac'd.

Anything that has been printed at common can be used. For example, {counterspell} has been printed at both common and uncommon, it is legal. Even the uncommon versions of the card.
