Ive been thinking about buying a camcorder to record for Magic but I'm not sure where to start so any suggestions would be grateful.

Just like me playing with friends like any video you watch of people playing from over the top where you can see the field and do deck tech stuff too.

A good phone will get you there. If you think you need something better later research it.

I've been debating firing up a YT channel at some point. I find that a lot of deck techs and gameplay videos have people with very poor camera presence. There's stuff like CVM vs BBD that are generally higher quality but I feel like we don't have a go to deck tech guy that's just really nice to watch.

That being said idk if I could pull it off and I kinda want to start up a LoL channel...

Decisions decisions. When you get some stuff up let me know, I'll check it out. 👍

GoPros work very nicely. So nicely in fact that many companies are switching to them over other methods.

Dlsr or go budget and get a dv video camera. My xha1 still holds better video quality than newer digital cameras (save for dslrs)

Find something that has high customization for light settings, the more versatile the camera is for lighting, the less extra equipment you'll gather as you continue to geek on cameras
