Title: Banisher priest
Post by: Oldschoolmtgnoob on July 27, 2015, 07:10:54 PM
Wondering if I played this right. Opponent plays {banisher priest} and grabs my {dragonlord atarka}. Later, I play {descent of dragons}, destroy the priest, give him his dragon, get back atarka, and kill the dragon he gets with atarka's ETB. Was this legitimate?

100% fine. He gets the 4/4 as the {descent of dragons} resolves, which will THEN result in Atarka coming down which will trigger and you can divide the damage however you choose.
