After I saw this guy in the thread of broken commanders, and thinking of shutout combo, I decided to do a little deck building project over the day.
This one is by far less nasty then the one posted below, but can be pretty frustrating I think.
First, we've got the good old {Nevinyrral's Disk} + {darksteel furnace}, which can be tutored by our commander.
Then we have {aphetto alchemist} equipped with {illusionist's bracers}, which gives infinite untap of creature or artifact.
I decided to go and abuse that one with the nastier tap-abilities, while adding a wizards sub-theme as well.
{rimewind cryomancer} and {disruptive student} protect from unwanted abilities and spells that make it through our lock.
{scroll rack} helps me get rid of cards I want to tutor that get stuck in my hand.
{citanul flute} gets me creatures, if I need them.
To get to infinite mana, we have the obvious {rings of brightheart} with {rings of brightheart} combo, but with the braced aphetto, any mana rock goes infinite. With lattice, any land will untap infinitely, thus creating infinite mana as well.
To do something with this mana, we have {hangarback walker} to just stomp.
Or we can go for infinite creatures, with {Myr Turbine}, or hard cast {Blightsteel colossus}.
Infinite lives is also a way to go, with {pristine talisman} (don't you love infinite life & mana?) or infinite death with {chalice of life}, or put infinite counters on {voodoo doll} with {clockspinning} (tutor with {aladdin's lamp})
Another way to go infinite I kill you is {prodigal sorcerer}.
Another infinite possibility is {inkmoth nexus} / {blinkmoth nexus}, or to have {wake trasher} benefit from the untaps.
To make this madness happen, we need to tutor quite a bit, so Arcum is key. To make sure we can power him out there are plenty of mana rocks and basic fetch-artifacts.
