Yeah. Enchant creature. Works fine.
If it said creature you control, then no.
You can attach it to an opponent's creature to make it act as an odd sort of pacifism, or you can attach it to your own creature (or your opponent's) in order to get repeated etb activations. It's an odd card, to say the least.

I'll just sit and block with this one...
More like, you want to pay 3 life to give me 3? How nice. Now I'll kill your x/4 creatures with this mirror guy ok?
Note of caution: Do NOT attach to {Phage the Untouchable} For obvious reasons..
Looks like it would be great with {giant adephage}
Swing, get bonus {Giant Adephage}, connect twice, get two tokens, end result 14 damage and three {Giant Adephage}s assuming no blocks. Though the trample means blocks usually don't matter.

But it dosen't have haste.
That's completely not the point.

But the problem is that you have to connect with the adephage, which mockery doe nothing about.
It has trample. Not too hard.

However the token is exiled at the end of combat. How do you propose to get around that without a {Sundial of the infinite} up and ready?

The token from mockery will go away. The token from {giant adephage's} ability will stay.

Thing is, you don't get combat damage in with the copy, it does not attack. In this case, if you end up connecting you'd get the token anyway, mockery or no. Even if you give it haste, it is not attacking and you already declared your attackers for the combat by the time you get the token.
Even the art implies it's sort of meant to go on an opponents creature. Or put it on your {crater hellion} or constant board wipes
Clearly pretty strong for any creature with an amazing ETB like {craterhoof behemoth} or {dragonlord Atarka}.
{Thragtusk} anyone?
