I don't see {dagathar, the adamant} do too much here, {Anax and cymede} would fit the theme better.

I also don't see a way to get benefit out of {spine of ish sah} other than 2 {demolish}.
Your opponent is not going to want it destroyed, so you need a way to sacrifice it.
If not, there are cheaper ways to destroy in RW.

Another thing might be the land ratio, 24/71 seems a bit low. I'd advise to cut to 60 cards (preferably) or to increase lands.
Mind you, not meant to burn your deck down, but just some friendly suggestions.

Good points. I'll trim it down as best I can and maybe add some more mana. Some cards are just cool and in there because it's hard for me to cull them!
Thanks for the tips.

I know the feeling. It's often the hardest part.
However, it's also no fun to be stuck without mana.

Ugh he's being a hipocrite... I'm not as expert at him at red but no lava axes or lightning bolts?

If you run red, bolts are staple!!

{Lava Axe} is bad. Real bad.

I used to love it when it first came out in Urza's I believe.
So much damage in one spell, and to the face!
But, you're better off casting a few smaller spell's. For that mana you can cast 3 {lightning bolt}s and a {thunderbolt} for 12 to the face.

Still, the original flavor text was my announcement: "catch!"

Just noticed you have {scrapyard mongrels} with only 2 artifacts and only 6 aura's for the {brood keeper}s. I'd recommend cutting these.

I'm not sure how to go back and edit the original deck (other than to repost it), but I've gotten it down to 63. Removed:
{Daghatar the Adamant}
{Scrapyard Mongrel}
{Traveller's Amulet}
{Spine of Ish Sah}
{Hero's Blade}
{Dragon Rage}
{Boros Cluestone}

You have too many one and two ofs to have a consistent deck. If something is good enough to run one, why not two? Or three? Our a playset? It makes sense for Iroas cause he's probably not going anywhere, you just need to draw him, but everything else needs to be evaluated. Find a theme and build around of.
