Actually, a guy who used to compete at our store and was a level 2 judge took a list to a Dallas GP last year I believe and got 6th with mainboard thoughtseize. So I did have it mainboard but I thought about it personally and for my preference yesterday and side boarded it again. Lol

I would suggest cutting the {spellskite} main board and put in 2x {etched champion}. Not sure what I would cut for the other one.

{Signal Pest} and {Steel Oberseer} are quite bad sometimes. Don't get me wrong, they're insane, but they do nothing and die very often. If you want another {Etched Champion} MB (which you do) cutting one of those is an option.

The way I see {steel overseer} is that it is a {path to exile} magnet. It does a lot, but {etched champion} seems much better. The only place where {steel overseer} is better is in the mirror match. Otherwise I agree with LinkCelestrial

Except etched champ is a 2/2 and does nothing else unless you have Rav or plating. Overseer is one of the best cards in Affinty bc it pumps the team if you untap with it once it can be game changing

I'm just speaking from my experience, if it's been working keep on rocking. I also run {Ghostfire Blade} in my list which makes {Etched Champion}'s clock faster.

It works well and the thing with etched champ and master are they're 3 drops and I'm not a fan of 3 drops in this deck so the 2-2 of each is the best it's gonna get. Signal pest wins games believe it or not. He's too bad for people to use removal against him yet he pumps everyone half-ass. :)

Looks great, very similar to my list but I added the 17th land. It may be less relevant now with the new mulligan rule though.

Can confirm, lost a game to a squadron of 3 signal pests...it was dumb.

Just out of curiousity, what's the plan against Jund when boarding?
Obviously I didn't post this but is imagine the steel overseers come out, and bloodmoons and the spellskite come in.

I was curious about the memnites and if they stay in, since I know they've historically been quite bad against BGx decks.
True. Overseers are probably worse though, they die to everything like me note but cost 2 mana

Frank Karson has been using {stubborn denial} in the board in place of spell pierce. I'm still testing it, but so far I like it.

Jund is definitely Blood Moon territory. Can't stand those raging ravines. I tend to take out 2 overseers and a memnite to throw in 2 Blood Moons and the other Spellskite.

This is just a thought and it's probably bad (I've never played Affinity) but would a cpl {Ghost Quarters} be worth trying?

Yah not really. You need to blinkmoths and inkmoths. Your basic is for when blood moons out. Glimmervoids help with the instant speed plating equip... Definitely no room for it in my list. Perhaps another form of affinity buuut unfortunately not this one.

Yes they are, when you play those decks it's just a race before they get there. Also, thoughtseize sideboard are for those play styles.
