Friend has 3 {Adaptive Automation}s out and is attacking. I have 2 snapcasters, {Archetype of Courage} and a 2/3. I block 1 AA with both snapcasters, and another one with my Archetype and the 2/3. All my creatures have first strike due to the Archetype.
I'm saying that all my creatures survive and 2 of his Automations die. I take 4. He thinks otherwise. Who is right?
What he failed to ask; do both of his {Snapcaster Mage} deal the 2 damage each (because of firststrike) and the attackers creature would deal 2 damage for the first creature, then 0 to the second.

All your creatures deal damage in the first strike step. So your blockers deal 4, killing the automatons, in first strike step.
The automatons you killed go to the graveyard, the one left is now a 2/2. That automaton deals his damage in the normal damage step, dealing 2 to you.
