Does Commune with Lava allow the caster to play any lands that are exiled?

{Commune with Lava}

Sure.  Lands can be played if exiled with commune.  Of course, you're still limited by the normal number of lands you could play on a single turn.

Certainly. Just remember, still one per turn. So if you play one from your hand, you can't do one with lava. Or vice versa.
The important difference between 'play' and 'put'. From something like {into the wilds} for example, would allow you to 'put' one out, then still 'play' one later.
