Title: Lack of Sultai
Post by: JordanCirk on June 27, 2015, 11:30:18 PM
Is there a reason people don't post many decks built around BUG colors much? It's my favorite three color combination and I don't see it played enough.. Also what's some people's favorite cards within those colors!

Damia I believe is the best general. You create a scenario where you filter your deck till you get the right cards to win

{Damia, Sage of Stone} for reference.

I have a {Sidisi, Brood Tyrant} deck. I could post it but it needs lots of upgrades.

The main issue with sultai is that it just lacks the power to really quickly acquire board control. You're too dependant on graveyard strategies and your general to actually do a whole ton. I like sultai as well but most of the other colour combinations are just much stronger.

If you really want to play sultai thiugh, Damia is actually your best bet.

Problem with bug commander is that they are either really really competitive or lack luster

I honestly haven't seen a good Samoa deck, but I'm sure their are ones that exsist.

My favorite deck is my Sidisi zombie tribal deck, I've made some changes to it and could update it if it would help you at all.

The problem is I'm pulling the deck in two directions. A {Sundial of the Infinite} use GY as a resource deck and a {Mortal Combat}/{Nighthowler} bigger GY = better deck.

I'm not planning on making it a zombie tribal, though I did think about it for a long time.

I would like to see your deck regardless.

I think {nighthowler} can become pretty scary very fast.
Had this guy with a commander with p/t equal to cards in hand from all players. That went outta hand very fast in a 4-way.
Can imagine howler does the same with sufficient creature hate.
