Just picked up the 2013 {Oloro, Ageless Ascetic} commander deck. And I have never built a pillow fort style deck before, but the idea has always peaked my interest. But here is my dilemma; my original plan was Extort, set up a solid defence, aggro+{pontiff of blight} and widdle down opponent/opponents slowly. However this is going require heavy Heavy ramp in order for this to be a viable win con. I had planned on {Teysa Envoy of ghosts} as the commander with {crypt ghast} and {magus of the coffers} as main ramp, but with a esper mana ID I feel that these two cards loose aren't as strong cause of the 3way split between mana and with that gone extort looses it's flashy appeal (cause I will no longer me able to maximize dmg/life gain). Am I correct or just over thinking? I have played against Oloro and when he is set up is IMO very difficult to deal with. I want to be able to use my life as a resource (ie. {serra avatar}+{essence Harvest}, {phyrexian processor}, {yawgmoths bargain} etc.). Should I abandon the extort all together? I was thinking on still going aggro but as mentioned I have little experience with a fort build. Any ideas/input would be greatly appreiated. Feelin like I hit a wall

Honestly, Aggro really isn't what oloro does. He sits there on his throne and watches his opponents suffer. I'd do more of an enchantment style deck if you're doing pillow fort, add some cards like {Mesa Enchantress}, {Skybind}, {Heliod, God of the Sun}, {Erebos, God of the Dead}, {Replenish}, cards like that. Also, I could be wrong, but I believe {yawgmoths bargain} is banned in edh.
As far as fort cards go, if you need help with some ideas for them just ask me and I'll post them later on
With Oloro pillow for what you've gotta do is get {Propaganda} effects so your opponents #canttouchthis. There are a bunch but I trust you to look them up yourself.
Then you need a Wincon. Well more than one.
{Sanguine Bond} + {Exquisite Blood} is one I've seen a few times. Stuff like {AETherling} isn't horrible when your opponents can't touch you.
{Fog Bank}, {Guard Gomoza} and {Seraph Angel} are nice blockers.
Counter spells, kill spells, wipes, {Sphinx's Revelation}.
I'm a pretty big fan of walkers too as most of your enchantments protect them too. {Ugin, the Spirit Dragon}, {Narset Transcendent}, *insert a Jace of your choice*, *insert a Sorin of your choice* (you want {Sorin Markov} and your playgroup already hates you).
The commander deck is a really good start. Just upgrade it.
You could also think about {Rest in Peace} + {Web of Inertia} for fort plus end the reanimater guys day lol
{Frozen Æther} + {Meekstone} brings the beat down decks to screeching halt giving you a chance to blow everything up
And {Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver} and not to steal anything but to exile their deck is key the more you can exile the less likely chance they'll find something to stop the fort
And with a fort deck be careful bc the more pieces you get them more of a target you draw on your face
Oh and dare I forget {Blazing Archon} a must have
I reccomend {Gaddock Teeg}. It's a much cheaper deck than trying to go Esper Pillowfort. The only issue is that the deck takes a little while to get the hang of. You need to know how to stabilise in the late game which can be really hard against some decks. The deck also focuses more on early game control with later game creatures and ways to stop the board in case your general dies. The main problems with the deck is the lack of good draw power. Most of its draw power comes from Enchantresses like {Mesa Enchantress} and {Eidolon of Blossoms}.
TLDR
It's a cheap, fun Pillowfort deck that creates an interesting game environment
