This is more for another user and stop clogging another combo. From experience, this combo kicks ass!
Putting the Gift on the Lord starts him on 2/2 if nothing else, but being in a B/G deck, there's usually cards from all player going to graveyard regularly. On top of that, all creatures that can have to block the Gifted Lord and with Deathtouch, he just makes himself stronger (granted he does come up against a fatty bigger than, especially if you've played the Lord mid game). 😊
Give him double strike, or at least first strike, and voilá: ass kicker motha focker while u make him stronger and ur other creatures have no blockers
Yeah. But you still need 5 mana for gift of the deity so you cant start whomping on people for few turns.
Have you noticed the CMC of the Lord, per chance? 😜
And yes, Double or First strike makes him Chuck Norris-esque! Ultimately, I also like to give him Indestructible too!p
I like hexproof, so noone can make him a 1/1 frog without abilities
