How do I tell the difference between 4th Edition, Unlimited Edition and Revised Edition?
For example: http://imgur.com/C6gXLG5
Most of the time how I tell the difference is I look at the text from each version. 4th had more updated text.
4th copyright 94/95
In your picture it looks like The Rack is Revised because the outer border looks like the unbeveled, simple single line black edge. Only Revised had that. Compare to the other card on the picture, Evacuation that appears to have the bevel (the double line that gives the illusion of a 3-D picture frame)
That rack is Revised
The way I do it when in doubt is just grab the app / gatherer and start a 1-on-1 comparison on text and art. There's also the described difference in border, but usually the rules text is a dead giveaway.

This primarily.
The colors in Revised are slightly lighter/washed out, but that only helps if you have two cards with similar colors to compare.
Unlimited has a different bevel from 4th.
4th edition has a copy right date.
Revised: the Artist name is on the line
Unlimited: there is a space between the artist name and line

I just want to be able to look at a card and automatically tell what set it's from without having to look them up individually. I have a ton of these white-bordered cards. (~600) They are all mixed up and I'm sorting through them all.
The link in my prior post tells you exactly what to look for on a card to tell if it's unlimited/revised/4th/5th
