Title: Card rule {Sundering Titan}
Post by: delregnr on June 11, 2015, 01:46:39 AM
{Sundering Titan} I played against this card but the controller... Friend of mine didn't seem to understand the rules for him. Example , he has two islands and tron lands out.  I have 3forest and 2 {breeding pools} Titan enters the battlefield. How many land do I loose ?

As it enters you lose a forest and they lose an island. Because the card text says choose one land of each basic land type and destroy it and so you have to choose 1 forest (yours) and 1 island (his)

When it enters, you check: which basic land types are present on the board?
This case: forest and island. For each of these, the controller chooses a land with that type.
In this situation, both your {breeding pools} could be chosen for forest and island, since they got both land types. Or he could pick {breeding pool} + forest to max out on destruction.
