{Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx} sounds good but I've been told it's bad because you need {G} pretty much every turn turn 1-4 and by then the extra mana doesn't mean much.
It's a good deck but don't get confused it's not that competitive and it gets wrecked by most decks in modern.
Sorry long day and I'm tired but just saying :(
In terms of improvement {Aspect of the Hydra} is what makes this deck somewhat playable also a MB Thrun might be good enough since you have {Rancor} to really send Thrun over the top :D
It's just a theory but would 4 CoCo be nuts in here?

I'm thinking cut elder and move like 2 dryads to sb, in favor of around 2 CoCo and 4 {aspect of the hydra}
I like kalonian tusker and I run a deck similar but I cut him for {avatar of the resolute} seeing as Geist, experiments, oozes, all get +1/+1 counters. I like the way it runs.
