Title: Anxiety Issues
Post by: Splicer on June 09, 2015, 09:34:53 AM
As some of you may know, I'm moving in a couple weeks. Well, whenever I go through a large change like this one, I get terrible anxiety, thinking about aging and death. I'm only 15, and yet I still have these problems. Does anyone else know what helps in these situations?

Sorry for ruining anyone's day, I just felt like I needed to get it out there.

Take an acting class

This will help subside all your fears

As someone who has severe anxiety issues, let me tell you that the best day to handle these are to focus less on what is coming up and what could happen and focus more on now and what is happening.

I don't know if this will help you but it helped me. Then again I never had severe anxiety issues.

Take a moment to check yourself, assess what's making you anxious and see if it's logical to worry about it. 99% of the time it really truly isn't logical at all. If that works for you yay. It doesn't work for a lot of people though so don't beat yourself up if it doesn't.

Fears and emotions are irrational. Realizing that doesn't always change anything.
