Title: High quality paper proxies
Post by: ibtrickey on June 08, 2015, 11:20:23 PM
I have these Paper Proxy Cards that have been printed out on white paper. It is the thin paper so that they do not make the sleeve too thick.
I used them in sleeves on top of basic land cards, they are slightly smaller then a real card due to copy right laws.
Let me know if anyone needs them.

Can you post a few imgur pics? You're vague by saying paper proxies. Are they on cardstock or just paper? Is it obvious they are fake? I play casual and nothing else. If you're wanting $50 cash value for paper that you printed out.... not worth.

They were not cheap to print out. They are really good color prints. But yes they are on regular white paper due to having to fit into a sleeve on top of a land card.
I am just wanting to see if anyone would be interested.
I am not selling these, only trading. I am up to offers. I have never put pictures on here so I do not know how to:/ can someone tell me how to

It's a website you use to upload images from your own device. Then it allows you to display these images on the web by a simple short URL. Look it up, it's pretty useful and simple.

Not worth 50. Not even worth 20. Sorry man.

254 pieces of paper you printed out. I can't see trading legal/playable cards for these. Just not worth.

Im not normally this directly combative but I can go to the local library and print 254 of these (9 per page) 29 pages in full color at .11 cents per sheet and pay $3.19 total
Sure, I have to cut them out myself and then put a land behind them but come on?

I can understand if you want to get rid of them but when asking who wants them consider the TRUE price of what you are offering in comparison of what It takes to DIY...

I agree with what you have to say,but time is money. Yes you can do it but how much time will it take? Personally I wouldn't buy this, but if someone else does its their own choice. I would guess he's not firm on the $50. If two people can come to terms where they are both happy God for them.

The images and ran them through photoshop and printed out on a high quality printer and not one from the library. It took hours just to edit the photos yet alone print these out. Truthfully asking 50 in trade was low. The quality of work and time put into them cost a lot more.

We're not being dicks because of anything but the fact that he's wanting 50 bucks in trade value for pieces of paper. Anyone could do this. Cardstock would be a different story. To print on cardstock takes precision and effort. This... just, I dont see the worth. 254 or 20,054, I just don't see it for paper.

By all means, if he can get the 50 bucks from someone willing to pay that, more power to him, but me and countless others don't see the point of paper proxies such as these. Good job on making them, but in my opinion, if you're wanting to make proxies work and have them sell, make them actually playable or collectable.

Look at it this way IB, if someone else posted this, would you trade 50 bucks of your actual cards, playable, sellable cards for pieces of paper that are delicate to handle? What if everyone didn't play in sleeves? As of current, the lands that you put behind the paper proxies would be worth more than the pieces of paper in front of them.

Anyways, I've said my piece. Good luck to you, sir.

Just use this instead of photoshop. Color, all cards, correct size.
