iMtG Server: Gathering

BG Zombies 60 cards, 0 sideboard 4 {Woodland Cemetery} 4 {Overgrown Tomb} 6 {Forest} 10 {Swamp} 24 lands 4 {Gravecrawler} 4 {Lotleth Troll} 4 {Dreg Mangler} 4 {Cemetery Reaper} 4 {Liliana's Reaver} 2 {Vulturous Zombie} 22 creatures 4 {Rancor} 4 {Tragic Slip} 2 {Altar's Reap} 4 {Abrupt Decay} 14 other spells Sideboard

The other guy got me thinking. So threw this together. I like it!

I said it to him too, {Risen Executioner}?

He is pretty solid, I think I like {Lilliana's Reaver} better though

I think I am going to try and build a sideboard for this, and play test. It looks fun to play

I like {Risen Executioner} over {Vulterous Zombie} as you're not really putting cards into their GY.

{Lifebane Zombie} is pretty much an Auto-Include, since Green and White are very popular colors in Modern, and it has Evasion.

What about  {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} Because it pretty good for multi

 {Necromancer's Stockpile}

Is super sweet in a tribal zombie deck

 {Geralf's Messenger} is a good card, difficult to cast but there are a lot of lands that you can use instead of forests which give you both G and B like  {Twilight Mire}, but the deck is already pretty good

Vultures zombie is just awful Geralfs messenger is sweet and if you run Geralfs messenger then you can run Theros' favourite zombie ... {Gray Merchant of Ashphodel}!!

I like the idea, the only problem is what are we going to replace, I would replace  {Liliana's Reaver} with geralf's messenger, but the what do you do with Grey Merchant? Replace it with Vulturus Zombie? I think 2 is bad, maybe 3

Reader and zombie are both bad so replace both and Gray would be a 2 of at most

I'm actually a big fan of {Blood Scrivener} myself, in my build I run {Liliana of the Veil} though so he's a really good Bob that's almost always online. And what about the smaller lords for a quicker build? Such as {Death Baron} and {Lord of the Undead}? I think the 4 drop is nice but he's clunky.

I think death baron is a really good card.  Blood scrivener is good but doesn't really fit the whole zombie tribal theme, in a deck that is not totally focused on zombies is really good :)

SORRY I MISUNDERSTOOD. I thought you where talking about  {Blood Artist}, I even have four copies of blood scrivener in my version...
