Title: Hexproof
Post by: Avodroc13 on May 27, 2015, 11:42:44 AM
My brother has {Archetype of Endurance} on his side of the field. I have {Mycosynth Lattice} and I play {Sculpting Steel} choosing the Archetype. What's the verdict? Can neither of us have hexproof? Can I choose his Archetype?

It enters as a copy of it, not enters targeting something and becomes a copy of it.

So yes. You can. What happens is that all creatures now all have hexproof, but the second clause removes the hexproof from them all.

So neither of us can have or gain hexproof?

2/1/2014: If you and an opponent each control the same Archetype, no creature controlled by any player will have the appropriate ability.
