Title: Exile
Post by: Avodroc13 on May 23, 2015, 11:52:54 AM
If something has been exiled, can I use {Burning Wish} or {Death Wish} to get it back?

Nope. Exile is a zone in-game (see {Torrent Elemental} or {Misthollow Griffin}). "Outside the game" refers to places like the sideboard
In competitive scenarios the sideboard is the only place you can grab from

I've never once played anything but casual. Can my opponent look through my side board?

In casual, "outside the game" means any card you own.

The sideboard, like your hand and library, is private information.  You yourself can look through your sideboard at any time, but if your opponent asks to look at it, you can just say 'no'.

If your opponent {mindslaver}'s you, can he look at it anytime? Could he cast your {burning wish} to look at it?

When someone controls you using {Mindslaver}, they have access to all information you have access to.  This DOES include your Sideboard.  A savvy U Tron player can ask (and not be denied) to look at your Sideboard if they control you on your turn.

As per the rulings of {mindslaver} they see everything you would. Rules wise he doesn't even need to ask, but I suppose it's common courtesy to do so.

Thanks! For some reason, I thought it would be off limits, as it isn't normally a part of the game.
