Title: Can Crucible Rack be a thing?
Post by: Spencer Addington on May 19, 2015, 04:04:23 AM
So I was messing with Teysa's 8rack list(shout out) and thought it would be an extra cool kick in the bits to deny them lands and cards. Any thoughts? For all those who are wondering, {Crucibe of Worlds} and {tectonic edge}/fetch lands is what would be added. Thins the deck and destroys non basic lands, which is kinda brutal.

Isn't the idea of 8-rack to empty your opponents hand by discard anyway? But I like the idea to be extra mean. Aren't there some other reusable lands or land sac/discard things that could add, since you're already running crucible?

I know {smallpox} would thrive with crucible. Also {ravens crime} is pretty cool since you can re-use the lands you discard. I'm sure there are other interactions that I'm not thinking of.

{ravens crime} with crucible and a bounce land. Play from grave, bounce itself to hand, discard. That way you always have a land in hand to discard. Otherwise, you could run out of land.

Well there's things like {Loam Lock} and crucible just furthers the agenda
