Empty envelope, slit in the side.

don't you think it would've been easier if they kept the entire envelope? What the hell?
Possible that it was torn open?
Do not
- send cash
- label cards/value
- describe trade or contents on outside of envelope

I encase all my trades in cardboard so it can't be seen through, even in proper lighting.

Real talk, I had a trade a while back where the same thing happened. On side was completely cut off, but the cards were still in it. A stamp sayING "arrived damaged" was on it. My cards were all there and okay, but it still was very peculiar. Who was that trade with again?
Me. I'm glad the cards were still in it and not damaged.
I had one like that a few years ago. Took over a month to get to me, side was torn open, and arrived to me in a plastic ziplock bag. Weird
I've had things that have been a bit damaged from a machine or something arrive in a post office bag, but nothing like that slit open...

Could be the possibility that it was inspected under suspect of being explosives or something...
I'm pretty sure that it's illegal to open someone's mail? Or is the post office allowed to do that?
I've had that happen to 2 of my trades in the past. One showed up ripped on the side, empty. The other was in a ziploc bag with a "damaged item" stamp or something like that. The second was still in there.

I ship EVERYTHING as non-machine-able
Your welcome
For what you never sent me anything. 😁😁😁

The post office is the exception because it's government. They can do it, but no normal person can.
Thought that might be the case.

Yes the post office is part of government but, the postal workers are no longer federal employees(yeah it's weird(I know this because my dad is a mailman)). Yep it's a federal offense to open someone else's mail.

If you recieve it and it's opened and/or things are removed, it's hard to prove.
If you were to use a middle man and the middle man recieved and sent out both ends but one person recieved an empty envelope, who would it fall on?
Postal service.
Or supply better envelopes
Personal middle man gripe: people just send me huge envelopes that will contain only the card itself, pack the envelope properly with paper and tape down the card with the stamp attached, if you have a large package over 1oz (28.5g) you will need another stamp
