How would you go about tapping a {howling mine}?
Even if it doesn't have a tap symbol, it can be tapped?
With that being said, if, for say, {orb of dreams} becomes tapped the same way, would it's effect not work? I'm confused.
But you cant just tap the mine for no reason. You need something to cause it to tap like CbStrad posted. Then it gets untapped on your untap step
If you tap {Howling Mine}, it will untap at your untap step allowing you to get the draw trigger and nobody else. Something like {Kiora's Follower} or {Clock of Omens} will allow you to tap it. (You can tap {Howling Mine} and {Clock of Omens} then untap {Clock of Omens}. I'm sure there's some combo/synergy you could add if you wanted.)
{Trinisphere} operates the same way
{animate artifact} and attack would work too.
EDIT: not that one, the one that makes any artifact a 5/5. But still works.
