{False Memories} And {Steamclaw}?

With the claw, it's the exact same thing, but different costs. But false memories... I... I just don't see how it's beneficial. XD

{False memories} allowed you to trigger threshold, even if it was only for one turn.  For {steamclaw} the different costs allowed you to activate the ability in different situations. The {3}{T} allowed you to use it once a turn, while the {1} and sac allowed you to use it in response to it getting destroyed or if you really needed to exile 2 things in a turn.

{False Memories} is a turn three {Tasigur, the Golden Fang} or {Gurmag Angler}.

The other one is graveyard hate. Bad frame yard hate.
