Deadbridge chant is unplayable in modern. The power level does not justify the mana cost. {Phyrexian Arena} is better.
I don't have the budget for Arena, but I do realize that Chant isn't as impressive as I once thought

Well here it is less impressive as it is unplayable

I want to replace it, but I don't know what to put in its place. Suggestions?

If you're going to run something like that {Comet Storm}, {Bonfire of the Damned} and  {Banefire} are better options IMO. I'd rather see {Lightning Bolt} or {Terminate} though.

I put in fireball for the burst potential late game, but do you think I need more removal? I already have 3 {Dreadbore} and 3 {Flame Slash}. If I do I'll put in terminates, but I just want your opinion

Yes it has burst potential late game but so does literally all the things he just said. Terminate is almost strictly better than Dreadbore. Lightning bolt is one of the best cards in the game

Fireball and Flameslash are there for budget reasons instead of Banefire and Lightning Bolt. And I like to be able to kill planeswalkers with Dreadbore

Then Sideboard it. The only walkers widely played in modern can all be bolted. Banefire is like 1 dollar or less. You'd be much better off investing the 8 dollars in a playset of bolts and just use them between all your modern decks

There's budget, and then there's saying you don't want to pay for a sub-$5 card.
Come on.

Well, when you get payed $50 every week, $2 and $10 are 2 very different things my friend. And you complaining is not helping me build the deck at all. So please leave constructive feedback or none at all

Just see if you can get duel dark benefited off of someone. They're a dollar a piece and just better than fireball

If you can't afford Bolt you shouldn't be playing modern. That's not mean or rude, it's just an acknowledgment that if you want to play even at FNM there is a cost to build a decent deck.
When you word it that way, then it isnt rude. And I agree with you completely about the Bolts. It's just that this is not supposed to be competitive. The most competitive place I would possibly use this is at FNM. And I've never been

{birds of paradise} is 1000000000000000000000% better than elvish mystic. Especially when you're playing so many basics, forest into mystic means no turn 2 vampire nighthawk but forest into birds, into untapped black land is turn 2 nighthawk. Also makes casting sprouting thrinax easier

This is the "pay to compete" part of magic. The reality is that using the best cards available makes your deck better. You can get away with budget cards but there's a reason for the price gap between {Lightning Bolt} and {Shock}. I understand that the deck is budget but if you like it enough you should invest in it and make it better. The good news is {Lightning Bolt} is getting reprinted in MM2 so it might lower a bit.

Honestly, if you asked around the forum, you might be able to bum a bolt or two. I opened enough M11 that I had 20 of the damn things at one point. But yes, there's only so budget you can get. Is it really impossible to get a card that's 6$ for 4 on eBay?
I'm fine if its like that. Hell, I have 2 {Olivia Volderan} and a {Huntmaster of the Fells} in here

I know dude! I would if I could, but for right now I have to settle for mystic. But it is pretty damn near to the first thing in getting when I can. Right behind some Bolts

If you can't afford birds, the elves if deep shadow will definitely do well, but as Conanedo said if you can't afford 3-5 dollar cards modern isn't the format for you
