My opponent attacks with Erebos, has the devotion. If I {hero's downfall} his other creature to cancel her devotion, is she still doing damage?
9/15/2013: If a God is attacking or blocking and it stops being a creature, it will be removed from combat.

This would do an awesome movie scene. {Erebos, God of the Dead} gigantic god hand is coming down to crush you, and in the last second you throw a spear killing one of her {Agent of Erebos}. Her hand instantly goes through you like a ghost and she instantly becomes translucent
