I wanted a devotion deck with life steal. This is my very first extremely rough draft. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

{Liliana's Shade} and {Liliana's Specter} are underwhelming. {Liliana's Reaver} is good though. {Ordeal of Erebos} isn't too great either, and this doesn't feel like a good home for {Dark Ritual}.
Make room for the final {Gray Merchant of Asphodel}. He's that good.
You need more land. Closer to 24. Also consider {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx} and {Crypt Ghast}.
Some other suggestions,
{Phyrexian Obliterator}.
{Whip of Erebos}.
{Erebos, God of the Dead}.
{Murderous Cut}.
{Heroe's Downfall}/{Murder}.
{Corrupt}.
Shade an specter are used for their 2 devotion. They aren't intended as power house cards.

I understand that, which is why I suggested some epic replacements like {Phyrexian Obliterator} and {Whip of Erebos}.
