Boseiju is needed in lands
Other than that, looks like fun

Thanks. The only reason Boseiju isn't in there is because this deck is budget. I'm looking to make it faster, anyone have any suggestions on that note?

{Midnight Haunting} seems better than {Lingering Souls} unless you add black. Some cantrips could help with speed and consistency. Also consider {Secure the Wastes} and {Spectral Procession} seems bad.

Splicer - didn't mean to neg, sorry.

Link - how is midnight haunting better?  Because it's more budget?  Just asking - if that's the case, cool.

It's instant speed and he doesn't have a black source outside of Springleaf drum making it that much worse

I may be able to get a few {secure the wastes}.
I don't like the idea of taking out a ton of token generators though, because if I don't draw polymorph, I have to swarm with tokens. I will do some testing, thanks for the suggestions.

Good point. I always miss instant vs sorcery speed.

I would like to build this list and throw a little bit of money into it (hallowed fountains, flooded strands, etc.) but was wondering if it would be worth it running dispels, remands, or swan songs for a little defense and protecting the polymorph?

YES. This is a budget, but if I had the funds the I would add at least the remands. Dispels are better in the side, and I haven't seen how good swan song is in modern, your call. Boseiju is a must. And there are better options then Progenitus for a poly target, like Emmy if you've got the funds.

I'd like to see your de-budgeted list.

Swan songs are actually pretty awesome, I enjoy using them in my side board and if for some reason you need another token on your side of the field you can swan song one of your own spells

Interesting. I wouldn't counter my own spell though, because they also produce tokens.

I'd play this like a BW tokens deck without hand disruption(unless black is splashed) or hero of bladehold.

Well suppose you have anthems down, no token generators and the board was wiped and you needed a finisher. Counter your own path to exile with swan song and now you have a 3/3 vigilant flyer at their EOT to finish the game. I know it's very unlikely but sometimes it helps

Fair enough.
