Yea {obelisk of urd} is really easy to cast in goblins. Worth two spots.

I gave you serious suggestions. You didn't so much as acknowledge them. I'm not mad at you or holding a grudge, I'm just pointing it out. I'll try to keep my jokes out of your deck threads from now on.

I feel like it could use another land or two. Have you considered {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx} and/or {Radiant Fountain}? Also {Outpost Siege}.

You didn't need to. I was the one that made a joke in your thread and caused confusion. Having clearly displayed the behaviour you just objected to I thought it best to apologize.

This deck definitely needs 4x {hordeling outburst}. That card is what makes goblins a playable standard deck. I'd cut the 4x {inferno fist} as it just sets you up to get two-for-oned. I'd also go + 2 {stoke the flames} since it should always be a cheap spell and -2 {arc lightning} since its sorcery speed.

I think crater's claws would be a better replacement for magma jets especially since you buff a lot easy to activate ferocious.
Title: Re: Mono Red Goblins
Post by: LinkCelestrial on May 17, 2015, 07:45:08 PM
I have to disagree. He has no other deck fixing and isn't running enough land for {Crater's Claws} to be very effective, besides that he'd be hard pressed to get the ferocious trigger.
Title: Re: Mono Red Goblins
Post by: Kylecaraway on May 17, 2015, 08:23:09 PM
So you disagree with the winner of the pro tour then I see well I wouldn't listen to half the .poo. you say cause I run 18 land in a mono red deck and most of the time I get flooded with land and never have a land issue so and crater's claws is easy it's an instant thT you can tigger in and attack with rabblemaster and he has that card that buffs all his creatures too making it really easy too and I guess the pro tour winner thinks the same

Me over a pro. The pro being yourself? Get off your high chair. If you flood with 18 you're not shuffling right. You did come across as a dick. I'm no "pro" but I'm not a dumbass. I know what I'm talking about and I'm good at giving suggestions. I only said I disagreed not you're wrong and stupid. Where's you basically said I'm wrong and stupid and my opinion doesn't matter. Even when you tried to not sound like a dick. Take it down a few pegs, learn how to link cards and don't be an ass.

Title: Re: Mono Red Goblins

Link was only suggesting his opinions and reasons for why he didn't think that was a good choice, if a pro chose to use it then so be it use that as your reasoning and justification. No need to be a dick on here, it's a community of "friendly" players. Not one for pricks. So seriously chill out dude, you're causing crap over a dollar rare for a deck that apparently hasn't even been thrown together that's most likely going to be used at an FNM. Chill.

Seriously I'm only a dick when someone acts like a know it all witch from looking at previous comment I'm not the only one he pissed off I through  an opinion out and I never said I was a pro I said pro tours and yes I am gonna listen to a pro tour player over somebody on this app I just found on my iPhone and when you posted on my personal deck was I a dick to you no I just saw this other guy annoying ppl and advising on a deck that clearly says mono red suggesting things that the player obviously doesn't want to do like splashing colors and everything If someone wanted to splash colors they would've done it and not put mono red obviously so yes I'm being a dick to this one person and I have a friend who builds and tested deck for a pro player and he's a friend of a pro he recommended that I use 18-19 land for a mono colored deck witch makes sense cause when you splash a color you need to either pull that color or put a tap lands in with this style of deck you don't want to play tap lands cause it's slower 18-19 is fine for a mono colored deck .poo. for two colors it's 23-24 that's barely a difference

And he specifically said something to me when I posted my opinion and when I wasn't even talking to him I didn't ask him for his opinion on my post he gave it and I saw he was pissing other ppl off and I looked into what he was saying. This is a standard deck that run the highest 3 mana for a drop you don't need 20 specific land in a mono colored deck that runs 18 mana

I also agree with Link in the sense that  {Crater's Claws} may not be the best when you only have 18 lands, and you are depending on goblins and buffs to get its ferocious.
Title: Re: Mono Red Goblins

I can't possibly be bothered to quote everything I'd like to address.

First off I didn't suggest splashing colours, I simply made a joke that nobody appreciated and apologized then got back on topic with suggestions. So first off,

You're bringing up old stuff that had nothing to do with you and was already resolved.

So I haven't only pissed people off, if you payed an ounce of attention to anything other than your massive ego you'd notice some of my suggestions were implemented into the deck.

"I'm only a dick when someone acts like a know it all." This is true, you're acting like a know it all. You're saying your opinion is better than mine and I should be ignored. That's a dick move.

"He specifically said something to me when I posted my opinion and I wasn't even talking to him"

You probably didn't know me before I responded, so of course you weren't addressing me. But guess what? This is a public forum. We respond to each other's posts, that's how it works. If you can't handle somebody disagreeing with you you're going to have a rough time IRL. Grow up, learn how to respectfully disagree with people, get off your high horse and for the love of our eyes please tidy up your grammar.

This is the kind of deck I've been playing. The two standard tournaments I've played recently I plaed a goblins list with 4 obelisk of urd, winning game day and going into top 8 at a pptq as number 1 seed. My list ran more creatures in 4 frenzied goblin and 3 heelcutter. I also played two impact tremors with one in the side.
