Title: Semi-competitive fun deck
Post by: NovusOrbis on April 21, 2015, 12:14:10 AM
Yo, I'm looking for a deck that isn't too competitive, but can still hold its own, and is really fun to play. Anyone have any ideas?

I ain't got no archetype, so hit me

Red green {goblin charbelcher}. You can put it together for around $100, it's super janky, and it can win in turn 3.

I have a soft spot for a  {Kiln Fiend} Deck with bolts and double strike spells. Splash black blue or green for more fun.

Bant Superfriends. I have never made a deck that surprised me more than that. It's fun and super resilient. However it is not cheap. I can update and bump it if you'd like.

Sure, I'd love to see the list. I'm leaning more towards budget, as I will have little to no free time at the academy, just something I can play with for fun with my friends.

Like a a fun fringe deck

It's bumped. Costs about $590 including the Modern manabase and sideboard cards like {Leyline of Sanctity}. You could play the old Turbo Fog version which is /much/ cheaper. I think you could probably pull off a budget version for much cheaper reasonably. Like $100-$200 ish.
