This isn't a deck for whip
It is sir. I lose a lot of life and the leeches get bigger when they come back, plus bringing back gray merchant.
Nice list, just a few suggestions:
{herald of torment} or {master of the feast} might bring more value than {squelching leeches}
If you have 4 {thoughtsieze} then I wouldn't run conditionals like {despies} and {duress}
Perhaps more permanents to add to devotion?
True, with Master it's just "get the extra card then run him over"
For quick easy creatures I'd suggest {Gurmag Swiftwing} and {Spiteful Returned} to pump devotion and to add some extra hits to life
