I'd go:
-2 Narset
-1 Ult. Price
+2 {Icefall Regent}
+1 {Dragonlords Perogative}
I'd go -1 {Anticipate}, -1 {Ultimate Price}
+1 {Ugin, the Spirit Dragon}, +1 {Bile Blight}
I played a very similar deck at FNM this past week. {Anticipate}, I wasn't too happy with to be honest. Don't get me wrong, its a nice card, but normally id have removal or counter magic in my hand turns 2 through 5. So normally I'd cast {Dig Through Time} before I'd cast {Anticipate}.
Ugin is just a house and the {Bile Blight} is just really good against a lot of ramping/rdw.
I run Narset in my deck and she alone won me some games this past FNM. A lot of people don't like her and I can understand their point, but to me, she is worth playing. I had reservations about playing her before FNM started, but after playing her I feel confident mainboarding her.
Just my 2 cents :)
That's true but no offense but FNM doesn't mean too much :P
I play UW Control and I run 3 anticipate and 4 dig and have been happy with it.
Narset can be good but remember it doesn't affect the board state and it takes 2-3 turns to do anything. Once you get to the point where you rebound a dig or something I feel like you have already won that game lol
No offense taken because you are right lol.
I agree and disagree with your view of Narset. Her +1 normally grabs me a card (scry lands work well with her) and I don't use her -2 just for dig...it works really well with foul tongue and really most everything in the deck. To each his/her own though.
I'm going to test variations of the deck out to see if I like it with/without her more :)
That's true I'm just using Dig as an example. I just don't like her bc she feels like either a win more or a maybe draw a card. Like if you're behind on the board she does little to help you recover from behind

I understand. But I had a few times where I was behind on the board and rebounded a ultimate price or a foul tongue...I get what you mean though about instant board presence. When she works, she works; when she doesn't work, you wasted a card slot.
For {Thoughtsieze}, if you main it, I'd run 2 or 3 copies. I think I main 2 and keep one in the sideboard. I bring in the extra copy against control/ any midrange or whip deck.
Fair enough Narset is sweet but I'd cut her if I was going to a tourney :)
Also just realized that you're running 25 land I don't think I'd go below 26 and even that's stretching it ..
Fair enough :) agree to disagree :D (that's the beauty of magic deck building tbh neither of us are right and neither are wrong it's whatever fits your play style/comfort level :D)
Sure thing gimme a few mins :D
