Title: Double cards
Post by: irock0495 on April 21, 2012, 06:01:19 PM
I recently obtanned a old card from what apears to be the coldsnap set. The card actually has two different cards plased on it on the same side
The two cards are stand (w) and deliver (2)(b)
What is the deal on these kinds of cards and whats should i do with it if anything

Take a pair of scissors and cut cleanly along the line in the middle.  XD

Seriously, don't.   These are split cards, and they have a bit of special rules.  For the most part, they are two cards in one.  When you cast it, you chose one of the two sides, and when it's on the stack, it is only that one side, nothing else.  In any other zone (hand, deck, graveyard) it has properties of both.

See Comprehensive Rules 708 for more.
