Title: Modern FNN
Post by: cltrn81 on April 03, 2015, 04:10:04 PM
Going to play bogles tonight.  Pretty standard list you will see online.  My SB is tailored toward the meta so we will see how it goes.

Thanks guys.  I ended up losing in the top 4 match.  my 2 loses out of 5 were to the guys who got 1st and 2nd so I am cool with that.  One deck was twin and 4th turn twin combo is hard to stop lol.  The other guy had a cool turbo fog home brew that he piloted perfectly......my bogles were like 20/20+ but he kept {holy days} for days lol.  First match against him I conceded to {holy days} on {isochron scepter} cuz my main board has literally no answer for that, 2nd game I got the win, and 3rd game he locked me up with the fog effects until he milled me.

Had loads of fun and picked up some good stuff.  Next time I go, I'm running Abzan instead ;)

I played in my first event since GP Richmonf almost a year ago tonight.  Went 4-1 in Swiss and split in the finals with NyxWave.  Deck performed awesomely tonight and I can't wait until next week!

I was on NyxWave, if that was unclear.

Not familiar with NyxWave.   I thought it was the name of the person you split with lol.  Like maybe this NyxWave was some popular dude deserving of such a name lmao.

😂

😂

You basically use Nykthos to generate huge amounts of mana to cast {Genesis Wave} for tons of game-ending Value.  If you want to see my list, I can write it up and share it.

Can one one explain what boggles is

{Slippery Boggle} and {Gladecover Scout} are both 1 mana Hexproof dudes and basically once they land a creature they suit them up with cheap enchantments like {Rancor} {Spider Umbra} etc. and due to them being Hexproof it's very hard for the opponent to deal with then

Took Abzan Midrange last night and went 4-0.  All the other 3 people in top 4 wanted to split and I figured I would be nice and let just split prize.  I wanted to play it out but what-evs.
