Title: Abuse Biovisionary
Post by: Pi on March 29, 2015, 12:02:37 AM
The goal: get 4 of these {Biovisionary}
Method 1: have one out, {Pack Hunt} for the others. Hard cast all the way through
Method 2: have one out, and three other creatures, {Infinite Reflections}
Method 3: have one out, {Cackling Counterpart} for a token. Populate ({Wake the Reflections}) for the rest.
Method 4: have one out, {Rite of Replication}
Method 5: run one non-permanent, {Primal Surge}

Streamline the combo by tutoring for the first one(duh), and using {Sundial of the Infinite} to skip to the end of turn.

Yes, there are always more ways to break a card like this. Yes, the 2/3 dies to {Lightning Bolt}.

If you use {sundial of the infinite} the turn will literally end. {biovisionary}s triggers will never go on the stack and never resolve. Otherwise sweet synergy for clone effects on biovis.

that's what I get for assuming.
Ruling:9/22/2011   If Sundial of the Infinite's ability is activated before the end step, any "at the beginning of the end step"-triggered abilities won't get the chance to trigger that turn because the end step is skipped. Those abilities will trigger at the beginning of the end step of the next turn. The same is true of abilities that trigger at the beginning of other phases or steps (except upkeep).

I run mine with {Progenitor Mimic}s and {Clone}s in a deck with {Prophet of Kruphix}
I usually get away with having one in play, then drop a clone of it, then on an opponents turn throw a progenitor mimic as the last copy, in multiplayer that all happens in before my next turn after playing the biovisionary! :)
