I thought this could be a thread where we discussed mtg buys we've made recently. I am a little short on cash, but I did manage to get some deck sleeves and boxes, a preordered playset of {thunderous wrath}, a playset of {pyrokinesis}, and a {tinker}, so I can troll people with a turn 3 blightsteel colossus.
I am considering bidding on these {tarmogoyf} on eBay but I know my wife will kill me so.......

Ok. I know I'm gunna sound really stupid by saying this but is there a reason why {tarmgfyor} is worth 100 bucks? I mean the mana cost is good I understand. But based on the wording, wouldn't it be limited just like cards with domain? It's card types among cards. Just like land type among lands means max 5 right?

{Tarmogoyf} is a great creature, and it's power is based on the number of card types in all GY's. That means: Planeswalker, instant, sorcery, creature, land, tribal, artifact, and enchantment. It's real easy to have a 3/4 or even 4/5 creature by turn 2 or 3.
It's cost to power ratio (in the right decks) is insane!!
T1: {Verdant Catacombs}, for an {Overgrown Tomb} (or {Bayou} if you be ballin'), {Despise} for a creature or PW
T2: {Tarmogoyf}, now 3/4
T3: instant, {Lotus Petal}, now 5/6 attacking.
