I really like the new {Myth Realized} and I am wondering if the card could work as a control finisher. I'm thinking it could allow for a pure control deck in modern without diluting it with too many creatures or burn spells. Definitely going to test it, but I hate that the card loses to AD.
I think its possible, but just realize that
While dodging some removal, its still quite vulnerable.

So you play {mindbreak trap} as a 4 of in the side?
Lol, VALUE!!!! No, if I actually play the deck, I'll just fill the sideboard with anti-Junk cards, and honestly with 3 Verdicts in the main you already have a decent game against them. Another cool thing is that Snap and Myth Realized are the only AD targets, so you opponent has to choose whether or not to keep them in (and you can play games like board out MR game 2 and back in game 3).

It can counter abrupt decay though! And emrakul, and doubles against storm.
I know, just not the most efficient card against Abzan. I'll figure out the sideboard if I decide to actually play the deck. Any ideas for the maindeck? I'd probably slap some Tec Edges in the main.
If I had to slap together a rough sideboard, it would be this:
-4X {Timely Reinforcements}
-3X {Negate}
-3x {Celestial Purge}
-2X {Mindbreak Trap}
-3x {Fracturing Gust}
