How is this gonna work in tourny play? Theres aloy of ppl that are very gitery with there cards and shuffle them constantly in there hand. How is it gonna be proved when he drew the card and so forth is what im asking
Well they would have to reveal it as soon as they draw I'm guessing
Idk that seems like that could be a rule breaker reveling a card in advanced, then you could know it was coming and counter that card instead of something else. Idk i think this idea is bad real bad in tourny play
If u want to use it for it's miracle cost it has to be used right then and there if u put it into your hand then u can use it later but for full price I don't see any problems. Pretty much if you're not gonna use the miracle don't reveal it
Just slows the game down. Peeps peeking at every draw looking for the mechanic, debating on using it, and bluffing that their island is a card with the mechanic. That part, I don't like.
Ok what if i draw my card dnt decide to play it at first then as my turn ends i do decide to play it who says i can or cant play how could it be provin that i did draw that card first this turn or not. I think they didnt think all this throw first
Did u not read my post once u put it into your hand you can't use it as a miracle. The card says u may cast this when u draw it. If u choose not to immediately cast it and u want to cast it on your end step you're gonna pay full price.
I guess if you draw your card and put it face down on the table to think if you cast it or not would be ok
Like the guy said above put a land down like that too bluff think about it then decide not too now they think u have that card in hand
A lot of people are missing the point here.
If you wan to cast a card for its miracle cost, you have to do it right when you draw it.
It creates a trigger, and if you put the card in your hand, the trigger is gone and you have to pay the full cost. You don't get to pay the miracle cost at any other time.
WHat jester said. And as for the bluffing shenanigans, half of the game is bluffing, especially for me, being heavily into blue. I suggestively leave a pile of two islands aside from the rest of my mana base, or I leave specific colors, and sometimes I'll leave a card in my hand to pretend I have a counter when it's a land.
Bluffing is just part of the game!

According to the card you don't have to cast it immediately, I would keep it separate from my hand, lay it face down, etc until I need it.
The trigger is only if it's the first card drawn that turn, proving it is the bigger question, I want to see an official ruling.
It says u may cast as you draw for its miracle cost what's so hard about this people. Yes you can use it later but it will cost you it's full cmc. There is nothing to prove cast it when you draw or lose the miracle effect.
Wording on the card:
Miracle (CC)

Ok i guess i dnt read all the way into it then. When its put that way it almost sounds usless.
