You should probable have more than 1 dark depths for a deck titled rise Marit lage
Design this deck in the way at its optimum, not your cards you have in possession.

How does this deck work?

But if your only depths gets killed what's your other wincon?

Maybe 2 instead?
Quote from: ConanEdo on March 10, 2015, 02:30:25 PMIt's not that I'm dredging for the depths. Loam is more for just-in-case scenarios. Anyone who sides in GY hate against this is wasting their time.
If you're using a loam engine to find your Depths, you need someway to answer GY hate. That being said, you need more reactive cards, you're an all-in combo deck that, assuming you naturally draw your combo, can't go off before turn 4. That's not great for legacy. Now, assuming you don't naturally draw combo, you're spending a lot of mana digging up combo pieces. Might want to take out tutors and greaves for more answers.

How does this deck work?
Get {thespian's stage} and {Dark Depths} out. Have the stage become a copy of depths. The stage has already entered the battlefield, so it has no counters and is sacrificed for the 20/20 indestructible. Have {Lightning greaves} out to give it shroud against cards like {Path to exile} and haste, swing in for game.
Alternatively, I can play {Vampire Hexmage} and sac it to wipe Depths and get the token.

{Abrupt Decay} Over {Disfigure}. Answers a lot of the same creatures as well as the gy hate people tend to run like {Rest in Peace}. Also kills {Pithing Needle} which basically tells your deck you can't do anything.
