{Halimar Depths}: ghetto scry 3 is fantastic. It helps you fetch answers and can turn a bad starting hand into a good one. {Deprive} synergies.
{Radiant Fountain}: life is good. {Deprive} synergies.
{Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx}: can't be mono {U} devotion without it.
{Island}: self explanatory.
{Vendilion Clique}: two blue symbols with a really solid effect and a semi-decent frame. Often target myself.
{Voidmage Prodigy}: Two blue symbols and turns the vast majority of my dudes into {Counterspell} on a stick.
{Hypnotic Siren}: The best value one drop I could find.
{Snapcaster Mage}: Fantastic with {Familiar's Ruse}
{Sage of Epityr}: Ghetto scry 4. Not bad.
{Thassa, God of the Sea}: Very solid abilities and a game closing frame when active.
{Master of Waves}: The big finisher.
{Leyline of Anticipation}: allows me to play more defensively and start the game with two symbols down.
{Familiar's Ruse}: a synergetic catch all.
{Last Word}: just in case.
{Cryptic Command}: Solid utility.
{Bident of Thassa}: Card draw with two symbols.
{Jace, Architect of Thought}: Two symbols and defensive/card draw skills.
{Deprive}: Catch all with slight downside.
{Psychic Barrier}: Board in vs creature heavy decks.
{Hall of Triumph}: Board in vs removal and sweeper heavy decks.
{Quash}: Board in vs Reanimator and such.
{Last Word}: board in vs other controlly decks.
{Perilous Vault}: because sometimes you need a wipe.
{Negate}: Board in vs creature light decks.
Halimar depths seems AWFUL
I feel as though Halifar depths does exactly what it should do, serum visions/ ponder whatever the hell else lets you stack your deck for one mana without the draw (Dimiroverload)

But depths enters tapped and doesn't draw you a card
I feel like I'd run {judge's familiar} over {hypnotic siren}. 7 mana seems like way too much for a {control magic} effect.
Edit: and with this many islands some {vedalken shackles} somewhere in the 75 would be good.

It is very very nice to have. {Deprive} synergies and actually playing with it is better than you'd expect.

Completely forgot about {Veldalken Shackles}. I think I'll have to make room.
This deck has two major weaknesses.
First off, the counterspell package I have right now is too slow. I feel like I ought to shift away from {Familiar's Ruse} and {Deprive} so I can consistently be casting counter magic turn two. I'm thinking {Psychic Barrier}, {Nullify} and {Negate}. The thing is it'll cause me to shift away from the synergies this deck was built around. Thoughts?
Secondly, no board interaction besides {Cryptic Command}. I feel like I need a {Disperse}/{Vapour Snag}/{Void Snare} package to combat this, or I need to splash for white or black. Thoughts? What on earth should I cut?
I feel like I need more {Leyline of Anticipation}. I'm debating cutting Jace for it. Thoughts?
