Title: Trample vs. Pro-creatures
Post by: panda777 on April 18, 2012, 09:21:15 PM
Alright now if a creature with protection from creatures blocks a creature with trample does the trample damage still go over the creature or does the creature absorb all of the damage?

You only have to assign enough damage to the blocker to destroy it, I think. So when using a 6/6 trampler, of you're blocked by some 2/2 with a {spirit mantle}, you still do 4 damage to your opponent, the 2/2 just doesn't die.

Correct.
