Title: Frontline Medic
Post by: An Angry Fatman on March 04, 2015, 02:59:46 PM
{frontline medic} attacks and gives all his creatures indistructable for the turn. I chump block with a {birds of paradise} and my bird dies. I {tragic slip} another one of his creatures and he insists that he can sac the medic to make me pay 3 extra. Is this how it works? What is the value of X in the medic's second ability?

No. There IS NO X in {tragic slips} mana cost. Medic can do that with {syncopate} or {sphinx's revelation}, but not tragic slip. That has a mama cost of simply {B}.

There is no value of x in medics ability. It simply states counter something with an X in it's mana cost (unless they pay 3).

This does not work. {Frontline Medic} is referencing a spell like {Fireball}. It needs to have {X} in its mana cost.

EDIT: way too late. xD
