Most of the cards in this deck were pretty cheap, comparably, in 96-97 when I acquired my unlimited p9 and finished my dual set. Took till about 2001 to full beta/alpha the nine and my dual set is allmost all fbb,beta/alpha. Only 8 w/b left. And they're the poopy lands. I don play much anymore. I just try and keep current with the only two formats I care about, and the only format with retained value.
Any shot a mod can move this to the vintage section that was started? There's a few other vintage decks I posted as well as others in the other section

I honestly don't see this deck winning that much. All I see are all the most expensive cards in the game thrown together with no real purpose.

I'm quite confused myself.
It's four colors, no white. The deck is primarily U/B with red and green splashes. And for those of you not understanding vintage construction like this, almost all forms of keeper/the deck have been
Built like those. If focuses on extreme precision as far as tutoring, and the cards individually carry answers to the formats meta. It's very easy to change the kill conditions since the foundation of the deck is mana,power,tutors,control and then you could use, like in the day, one morphlings main deck and a helm of obedience to gain ground after you control them. Early versions all almost ran atleast one abyss. If you were to run any white in this deck, it would likely only be balance. It would be very difficult how to explain to play this but basically in a nut shell if a card in your hand cannot answer any
Issues you have with what your opponents doing, then you will have a card that lets you get to one that will. Usually close to instant speed. The longer the game goes, the better this deck is. Not true for many in vintage, there's usually a self stabilizing point where a specific deck will have a far less win percentage beyond say turn 8 or somethig like that.

Watch them stall and lose game one. Game 2 sb and win. 2-0. Sligh in vintage is, IMO, not a good idea. I will edit and post a SB if necessary but like i said it would be very meta dependent on what I'm running. I've played in many shops that have vintage tourneys that have no players with any power at all, maybe FoW and duals at best. My board in that environment would be intensely color and aggro hated. In a prxied tournament maybe a standard board can be comprised. In a legit type 1 tournament, I would have to see the actual players, assume I know what they are going to run and then board forum them and my two worst matchups possible in vintage. Which really aren't any but mirror matches.
And what's Mott fanatic going to do to me? Kill my one gorilla shaman so I cant blow up the moxen he likely doesn't have in a mono red deck? Lighting bolt me a few times and have no cards in hand? Sac two mountains and get his fireblast mana drained? What if inside in chalice of the void for 1? Or chill? Propaganda? Blue elemental blast? All regular hatred for r/gbeats. I just don't see sligh getting it done. If you have apprentIce and want to run some games let me know. I'd be more than eager to see how keeper would fair against sligh/goblins/something like that.
IMO, this deck is junk. Other than price of course. Don't get bent out of shape about it. Not everyone is going to like your deck list. Honestly I don't blame you though. If I had those cards I would do it to, but differently. Lol
If you really do have all those cards I'd like to see your take on a turn 1 win with a {Raging Goblin}. Without those cards the best you can get is turn 2. Unless you top deck 2 {Lotus Petal}s.

I'm not bent about it, it's just that I consider my knowledge of the vintage format generally superior to most mtg players, vintage savee or not. Idk your experience, so not to discredit you but - any "vintage" players know this deck and know its far from junk. It's probably the most consistent build in the format well over 10 years. Keeper and it's variants have existed forever. And idk about turn ones with raging goblin. Although if it's goblins u want I can show you a neat little trick with food chain to turn one someone. :)
I don't get to play much vintage. Everyone here is obsessed with standard. It's rare I can find some one to play this format with. Oh, turn 1 {Raging Goblin}. Play mountain, {Black Lotus}, mountain for goblin, lotus for {Dark Ritual} and cast {Hatred}. Lol. I have deck with this combo minus the lotus. I have to use other cards and go turn 2 with it.
