{Soulfire Grand Master} Gives lifelinK but only to spells that do direct damage like  {Lightning Bolt} And similar. Any destroy spell you gain no life.

Also please link cards for easier answers. Either use the book in the upper right corner or curly brackets (quote to see)

Just want to add that you only gain the life from SGM's spell lifelink ability if the spell is the source of the damage.  You would not gain life from {Hunt the Weak} or {Swift Kick} through this combo - unless the creature you targeted has lifelink.

Also {Lightning Helix} and the like will gain you double as they don't say lifelink. Just like having {Lifelink} and {Spirit Link} on the same creature.

I wish lifelink wasn't considered redundant. Having double lifelink should equal double life gain

It's like pulling double money cards in a draft. You only get one. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

They had a whole post on that in discussion. Kind of interesting, the morals behind those decisions.
