Title: totem armor and sacrifice
Post by: Prplprince on February 16, 2015, 07:23:35 PM
I'd like to play a bogle deck but before I start building it I have a quick question of Totem armor. An example would be I have my  {Slippery Bogle} enchanted with  {Hyena Umbra}. If my opponent plays  {Liliana of the Veil} And forces me to sac a creature does my Umbra drop off and bogle live or does the bogle just die?

You can't save sacrificed creatures. Because you are choosing to sac it. Even thou you are being forced to do it.

7/1/2013   Totem armor has no effect if the enchanted permanent is put into a graveyard for any other reason, such as if it's sacrificed, if it's legendary and another legendary permanent with the same name is controlled by the same player, or if its toughness is 0 or less.
