Title: Standard Infinite Mana
Post by: LinkCelestrial on February 12, 2015, 04:13:40 PM
{Singing Bell Strike} + {Karametra's Acolyte} + 7 or more devotion. I was not the first person to come up with this, just haven't seen it posted here.

{Thassa's Ire} + {Karametra's Acolyte} + ??? Somebody was talking about this but I don't know what their blue source was. Anyone know? Or maybe the combo was illegitimate.

Posting to follow. I'm curious how this works

Dus an extensive gatherer search on something that makes {U} mana. All require to tap or are sorceries. So you would need something to untap indefinitely or maybe something that turns colorless into any color. I'm afraid the second version will be very intricate to pull off though.

Nothing standard legal. Hmm. Still.

Have to mention it even though it is too complicated for a real deck - green mana dorks, {Jeskai Ascendancy} and any repeatable non-creature spell combo, like {monastery mentor} and {Ephara's enlightenment}.

This combo doesn't work.

The monk token with prowess will enter the battlefield before {Ephara's Enlightenment} resolves, so the aura would never see any creature enter the battlefield (assuming no other cards).

Yeah, you need two enlightenments with a mentor.  You can use one with a {brood keeper} though.

Or just go {Temur Sabertooth}, {Temur Ascendancy} and {Karametra's acolyte}

Kara would only generate 3 {G} with this on the field. How does this one work? I could see you get Kara returned to hand, played and tap again, but you would need over 6 devotion right?

Yes but for any of the other ones above that actually work you'd need over six devotion

True. I just figured the combo wasn't complete so thought I might miss something.
